Pieter founded Eye Management in 2007, and has a 26-year track record managing hedge funds.

In the Netherlands, Pieter was a Director of Dutch-based Rabo Securities (Rabobank) in a senior advisory role, specialising in energy and reporting directly to the Chairman. In addition, Pieter was ranked #1 European Energy analyst.

He was the co-founder and co-manager of Socratic Fund Management LP, a US-based, global energy hedge fund.

In the USA, he also worked for Spear, Leeds & Kellogg (acquired by Goldman Sachs in 2000) in the proprietary asset management department.

Pieter received an MBA in Finance from Pace University, New York and his BA from Hartwick College, New York.
